Pequeño problema con el módulo "messenger"

¡Hola! Estoy haciendo pruebas con el módulo "messenger" y todo funciona perfectamente, salvo una cosa que voy a tratar de explicar bien:

Tengo asignados 2 roles para los usuarios registrados: los usuarios registrados normales, y los usuarios registrados a quienes les he asignado el rol "avanzado".

Bien, he configurado el módulo de forma que sólo sea accesible para los usuarios registrados con el rol de "avanzado, y funciona sin problemas.

El pequeño inconveniente es que el módulo, a pesar de haber designado los permisos pertinentes sólo para el rol "avanzado", muestra y lista a todos los usuarios registrados. Es decir, que incluye a aquello que sólo son usuarios registrados normales.

Lo más "gracioso", es que el módulo permite mandar mensajes a estos usuarios normales, pero claro está, al no tener éstos asignados el rol de "avanzado" nunca podrán acceder a dicho módulo. Vamos, que son mensajes que se mandan pero que nunca se reciben.

Me gustaría que el módulo messenger sólo listara a los usuarios registrados que sí pueden recibir mensajes, es decir: sólo a los que tienen asignado el rol de "avanzado". ¿Cómo puedo hacerlo? ¿Qué tengo que cambiar del módulo?
